Dedicated to the memory of Jim Lindley, my life, love, husband, soul mate, and best friend

Jim was much loved by his wife Di and family, and will always be remembered fondly by family and friends.  He passed away on Saturday 3rd March 2018, at the young age of 56, from the awful disease of Cystic Fibrosis.

He never complained about having CF, he just got on with it, it didn't stop him from doing anything, and he achieved everything he wanted to ... he lived life to the full.  It was only the last couple of years that started to hold him back!  He never managed to get on the lung transplant list, even though he'd been trying for nearly 2 years or more!

As you can imagine there are, and will be, tough times ahead but so glad he’s at rest now and free from breathlessness (which was all he ever wanted) and I’ll meet him in our next life.  I’m so grateful for being part of his life ... and him being my life, love, husband, soul mate, and best friend.

Love Di xx

Thoughts

One of your last messages to me was how much Grace is growing up and that we have a little leader on our hands. She was announced Head Girl today and I thought of that message and how proud you would be. Keep looking over her x

Jim, such a long time ago, when we first met at WSD. I was just 16, first job and I can remember you showed kindness by explaining something that I really needed to know. You helped me to start my old car too, had a bit of a laugh that day! It was because of you that our son Sam got an interest in motor sport, so much so, that he studied it 'specifically' at university. He loved seeing you race. Even though we had not seen each other for ages, you and Di were always in our hearts. Much love to you and your lovely, remarkable wife Di. Sue, David, Sam, Sarah and Mark xx
